Visitors

Visiting Hours

ICU: All days between 5 p.m. — 7 p.m.

WARDS: All days between 10 a.m. — 12 p.m. & 5 p.m. — 7 p.m.

COUNSELLING SESSION: 11 a.m. — 12 p.m.

Please note:

  • Visitors are allowed only during visiting hours
  • Children below 15 years are not allowed as visitors or patient attendant in the hospital
  • All patient visitors will be allowed access to In-Patient floors only when carrying valid visitor passes
  • Please do not bring out side food, valuable items, pillow, blanket, bed sheet, sleeping bag
  • Please take care of your belongings. Hospital is not responsible for loss of any personal items
  • Patient and their attendant/visitors are responsible for proper care of hospital’s property
  • Patients may be charged for any damage of hospital’s property due to their negligence
  • Camera and photography are strictly prohibited inside the hospital
  • Visitors are requested to keep their phones on silent

Visitor’s Pass

  • You are requested to collect the Visitor’s and Attendant’s pass from the reception
  • Only one visitor pass is issued per patient
  • Only one visitor is allowed to visit the ICU

During Admission:

  • Either the patient or relative must contact the front office staff
  • An admission form will be provided for completion with patient details, and a consent form to be signed for the treatment that will be provided
  • A deposit will have to be paid at the billing counter
  • Once the registration formalities are completed, the patient is escorted to the room
  • Only one attendant is allowed to accompany the patient
  • An attendant’s pass will be issued to the person accompanying the patient. The validity must be renewed, should the patient’s stay be prolonged
  • You are requested to bring the following items to hospital:
    • All necessary Medical Reports and X-rays
    • List of medications currently being taken
    • Personal toiletries, slippers, night clothes, and towels as per your need
  • You are requested to NOT bring the following items to hospital
    • Jewellery and valuables
    • Electrical appliances
    • Eatables
    • Flowers
The hospital will not accept liability for loss of any personal articles

Discharge

  • Discharge will be given by the consulting doctor. The ward executive will initiate discharge formalities
  • Billing counters are located on each level, thus ensuring prompt and efficient handling
  • On payment of bill, a folder containing the discharge papers and instructions for future treatment, follow-up visit with the consultant, etc. will be given
  • At the time of discharge Visitor and Attendant pass to be deposited at front desk
Patients

Dietary:

  • Bharathirajaa Hospital & Research Centre Pvt Ltd has highly qualified Dieticians who prescribe specific and therapeutic diets depending on the medical condition of the patient.
  • We have a spacious and well maintained kitchen which supplies healthy and nutritious cuisine for patients as well as staff.
  • Patients are served as per the prescribed diet. The timings are as follows
  • Breakfast – 7:00 a.m
  • Tea / Milk – 10:00 a.m.
  • Lunch – 12:30p.m.
  • Tea – 3:00 p.m.
  • Dinner – 7:00 p.m.
  • Milk – 9:00p.m.
  • Patients are provided meals in their respective rooms
  • For visitors there is a Cafeteria on the 2nd floor OPD

House keeping:

  • The rooms and washrooms are cleaned twice daily with the recommended disinfectants by the infection control team through our skilled Housekeeping staff under the expert supervision and guidance of their In-charge.
  • Since a hygienic environment is essential for your health, we maintain the standard as per NABH norms. Kindly help us to maintain our standards.
  • We take pride in serving you. Giving tips in any kind is strictly prohibited.

Laundry :

  • We have an in-house laundry where clothes are washed to clinical perfection, bed linen is cleansed with prescribed disinfectant and soap solution, dried and ironed with no scope for infection.
